EXCELLENT RESULTS FOR TENUTE FOLONARI’S WINES

Conquer the top of the most important International Wine Competitions
And obtain good Evaluations from the most Famous International Media
“Hot” summer for Tenute Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari group, whose wines received important awards from international media in the last months.
Incredibly high ratings arrived from the U.s. magazine WINE SPECTATOR, who assigned 95 points over 100 to Il Pareto 2006 from Tenuta di Nozzole (FI) and 94/100 to Cabreo il Borgo 2007 from Tenute del Cabreo (FI). The two Supertuscans aren’t the only wines of the group to have received such a good award: other three wines (Chianti Classico Riserva La Forra 2006 and Le Bruniche Chardonnay 2008 from Tenuta di Nozzole and Cabreo La Pietra Chardonnay 2007) obtained more then 86/100.
WINE ADVOCATE, edited from the famous opinionist Robert Parker, confirmed the high quality of the Folonari wines, judging with more then 90/100 points Cabreo Il Borgo 2006 (95/100), Brunello di Montalcino La Fuga 2004 (92/100), Il Pareto Nozzole 2006 (91/100), Chianti Classico Riserva La Forra 2006 (91/100), Chianti Classico Riserva Nozzole 2006 (90/100).
Also in Europe there has been a good result for the Bolgheri Rosso 2007 from Tenuta Campo al Mare (LI), which received 91/100 points from the experts of the Austrian magazine FALSTAFF.
Folonari’s wines’ quality and elegance have conquered as well the severe judges of the most important international wine competitions such as the Decanter World Wine Awards and the International Wine and Spirit Competition. In both cases, the Supertuscan Cabreo Il Borgo 2006 received the Gold Medal and three Bronze medals were given to other wines.
