In the hills of Greve in Chianti, Tenute del Cabreo sees the birth of a new winemaking project: La Pietra Metodo Classico Blanc de Blancs is the culmination of over 40 years expertise in cultivating Chardonnay in Tuscany, the quintessential grape variety for crafting Metodo Classico.
A wine that represents another chapter in the company’s journey, always rooted in innovation and the pursuit of excellence.
The 2021 millesimé is characterized by a brilliant straw-yellow colour, vibrant with a fine and enduring perlage.
Secondary and tertiary aromas of chamomille, rosemary, ginger gracefully complement the prevailing notes of yeast, freshly baked bread crust and green citrus. On the palate sensation of salinity and crispness; dry yet elegant, with a substantial body that delivers remarkable breadth and harmony

Purchased by Nino Folonari, Giovanni’s grandfather, in 1967, the Zano estate covers about 60 hectares, 45 of which are planted with Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and the other ones are woods or rural settlements.
