Vermentino made on Tenuta Campo al Mare is the son of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The vineyards are grown on completely sandy soils only a few hundred metres from the coast. An unconventional viticulture. The glass reveals minerality and freshness that recall the iodised notes of the Bolgheri coast.
Tasting: The 2020 vintage is an explosion of aromas characterised by hints of peach, mango, buttercup, lemon peel and iodised notes. Mouthfeel sensations of freshness and flavour clean the palate preparing it for the second glass.
Pairing: Villa di Nozzole suggests to pair it with the Mediterranean salad but also with seafood, summer fish dishes or just enjoy it as an aperitif
First vintage: 2005
Shelf life: up to 3 years
Curiosity: Vermentino is the prince grape variety of the Mediterranean Sea. It is cultivated on sands and for this reason it best expresses the mineral notes
